“To March” Dinah Maria Mulock Craik, England (1826-1887)

March! March! March!
How the wavy branches arch,
How the rustling breezes go
O’er the faded winter snow!

March! March! March!
’Tis the time of stormy larch,
And the rain-sweetened sod
Wakes again the dreams of God.
